Kaolin, also known as china clay or caolin, is a naturally occurring clay mineral primarily composed of kaolinite, a hydrated aluminum silicate. It is soft, chemically inert, and has excellent whiteness and plasticity, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial and commercial uses.
